10 Top Tips for a Great Father’s Day

Fathers’s Day is only a couple of weeks away and although it doesn’t get as much razzmatazz as Mother’s Day – all those great dads out there deserve a day dedicated to them! So here at L&S we have been thinking about the best ways to make sure the day is as fab as possible.

10 tips to ensure the perfect day:

• Let him have a nice long lie-in.
• If he’s still in bed, bring him breakfast in bed and the Sunday papers.
• Give him a card and present while he is enjoying his brekkie. If you are stuck for ideas, we have some gorgeous Boing bracelets which he is bound to love.

• If you’re the creative type, why not make your own card or write him a poem or letter. Let him know how much you love him and what he means to you.
• However, if you are feeling a little short on creativity and money, why not help him with some jobs around the house – wash his car or mow the grass.
• Present him with a book of promises – for example promise to give him a massive hug when he’s had a bad day.
• Plan a fun day out – grab a ball and head for the park with a picnic.
• Spend the entire day together as a family. It’s not always easy to dedicate a whole day to the fam, but it would mean a huge amount to him.
• In the evening, fire up the barbecue or cook him his favourite dish.
• Above all else, tell him how loved he is.
