Hen Party Ideas …

Hen parties can actually trace their heritage back to ancient Greece and in the UK in the 19th century there was written reports of hen parties relating to a gathering of women, often with tea, music and food, although nothing to do with wedding celebrations. The first mention of hen parties as we know and love them today probably has its routes in the 1970s.

There are so many ways in which we can celebrate a special hen weekend, from Gin Tasting in Liverpool ….

to a bellini boat party in Marbella

or if you prefer a quieter gathering, why not book a private hen house retreat.

Whatever you end up doing however, being a bridesmaid can be hard work from trying to organise the hen party, offering wedmin support and helping the bride survive the post hen hangover!! So here at Lily and Stella we have lots of little touches which will elevate your weekend from the normal to the extra special and thank all your lovely hens for their help.
