Reasons why we LOVE teachers!

Teachers play a massive role in our lives and play a significant part in forming the people we are and the future people our children will become.

So as the end of the academic year approaches we thought it would be lovely to look at all the reasons why teachers are so special and give a few suggestions of little gifts which can help convey just how special they are.

• They teach us new things and help us discover our passions! A good teacher can introduce us to new subjects and develop a passion for a particular subject which we would never believe would hold any interest to us.

• They believe in us! Teachers encourage us to reach our true potential and convince us that we can do anything we set our minds to.

• They help foster a love for reading, writing and learning. Without teachers we would have no doctors, nurses, politicians or even future teachers.

• Teachers have the ability to turn what might be a boring subject into a fun and exciting lessons. Their passion is infectious!

Not only do teachers teach, but they are mentors, motivators, supporters, counsellors and friends.

So as all the exams come to an end, sports days are done and prizes given out, remember to just say a little thank you for all the little extra things that teachers do for us.
